Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre is home to over 50 popular retailers all under one roof.

Lovers of quality food are spoilt for choice at the centre with stores including the largest M&S in Medway (and the only M&S with a food hall) and the largest Sainsbury's in Kent. Other large shops include Argos, BHS, Boots and WH Smith. Followers of fashion will find inspiration from our range of fashion retailers, plus beauty products and treatments, music, games, toys, gifts and home accessories can all be found at Hempstead Valley.

Looking for some refreshment whilst you shop? Whether you want a quick snack, a relaxing break from shopping with a coffee and slice of cake or a 3 course meal in Sainsbury's restaurant, you'll find a great range of food to choose from. Family favourites and great value meal deals can be found in Hempstead Valley's food court.

Hempstead Valley holds regular events at the centre including Farmers’ Market which is held on the first Friday of every month, outside in Green Car Park from 10am to 2pm. A variety of local produce is available, including fruit and vegetables when in season.

Hempstead Valley takes great pride in ensuring that the centre is kept clean and safe and we feel that this is one of the reasons of the continued popularity of the centre. Our dedicated in-house Housekeeping team work hard to keep the toilets and baby changing rooms clean and these rooms are regularly cleaned throughout the day. We offer two separate baby changing areas and within one of these areas is a private area where Mum’s can breastfeed in a comfortable chair.

Parking is free for customers whilst they are shopping at the centre (maximum stay 6 hours). All the parking areas have a bright, user-friendly atmosphere and there are extra wide disabled parking bays - marked in blue for blue badge holders only, located close to all the entrances. All stores are easily accessible from the ground floor. Wider parent & baby bays are marked in red. There are also dedicated bicycle and motorbike bays.
