Medway Council's award-winning Visitor Information Centre in Rochester is the ideal first port of call for visitors to the area.Whether you are planning a day trip or short-break in Medway, a warm welcome awaits you.

As well as providing a professional and friendly service, visitors will find all the reference material anyone could wish for, with maps, booklets and leaflets to introduce each attraction and a wide selection of souvenirs from which to choose. 

Other facilities at the centre include:

• Normas Café, with inside and outside seating areas where visitors can buy hot and cold refreshments;

• Rochester Art Gallery and Craft Case on the ground floor;

• Meeting rooms and a theatre-style auditorium that seats 96 people on the upper floors available for hire.

• Dedicated coach setting down and pick-up point at the rear of the centre for group visitors.

The centre is in the heart of historic Rochester (see location map) and is wheelchair friendly.  It is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.  Closed Sundays October to March (except during special events). Box Office for concert tickets is closed at 4.30pm daily.
