For the third evening of Rochester Castle Concerts is the American Funk band Cameo. This band has been around since the 1970s and has constantly been evolving their hit songs.
CAMEO were trendsetters through the 1970s and 1980s and even influenced early R&B and hip-hop acts. Their biggest hit, "Word Up," made it to number six on the pop chart in 1986, giving them their biggest bite of the mainstream. As the founder, creator, producer, director of the CAMEO band, Larry Blackmon’s creative & musical direction have guided CAMEO through the decades.
