Christmas in Medway

There's plenty of things to see and do in Medway this festive season.

It all begins with the countdown to Christmas when the Christmas Lights get switched on across the towns of Medway.  This is closely followed by Christmas markets at the picturesque Rochester Castle gardens over several weekends in November and December with the first weekend in December offering Victorian fun with characters, parades and lots of entertainment at the forever popular Dickensian Christmas weekend.

Eastgate House is the place to find a Victorian Father Christmas and special performances of Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol.

The theatres in Chatham will be the place to see the pantos with this year's family pantomime Sammy the Sheep saves Christmas at the Brook Theatre and Dick Whittington and his Cat at The Central Theatre.
