Bring a piece of this history into your home at Christmas.
Join the Master Ropemakers and spend the afternoon in the festive surrounds of Commissioner’s House. Bring your Christmas wreath ideas, choose your colour scheme, get creative and learn how to make a unique Christmas wreath to hang proudly on your door.
The workshop will start with a welcome drink of mulled wine, tea or coffee and mince pies before Alex Rowling, Managing Director of Master Ropemakers, guides you through the techniques for creating a traditional door wreath.
You’ll then take your place at the craft tables and let loose to create your own wreath for your home. Decorations will be provided, from foliage to ribbons to festive materials provided by the Master Ropemakers.
The workshops start at 11am in Commissioner’s House and last for approximately 2 hours. The sessions are £45 per person, which includes all materials for the wreath and tea/coffee.
