Guided Tour of Rochester

See Rochester's wealth of historic buildings and hear about the city's long and fascinating history from an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide of the City of Rochester Society.

The tours begin at the Medway Visitor Information Centre in the High Street at 2.15pm and take about an hour and a half. They are an ideal way for both visitors and residents to get to know something of Rochester's fascinating heritage, during the course of a gentle afternoon stroll.
These tours are free of charge, but donations to Society funds are always welcome.
The Society will be abiding by government requirements for tours and has attained the Visit Britain 'Good to Go' accreditation. There will be a maximum of five visitors on each tour, social distancing will be maintained, and guides will be wearing visors when speaking. Visitor details will be recorded for the Track and Trace system.
