A special exhibition of the Gurkha Sappers celebrating 75 years of their formation.
As The Queen’s Gurkha Engineers (QGE) celebrate 75 years since their formation, this exhibition shows their history and journey, from the origin of Gurkha Sappers in 1948, to their designation as Queen’s Gurkha Engineers in 1977.

The exhibition, created by the QGE, showcases the QGE’s skills with a replica Nepali house and Observation Post, original artwork and silver centrepieces from the Officers’ Mess.
Gurkha Sappers was made possible through the New Stories, New Audiences grant from the Association of Independent Museums and National Heritage Lottery Fund.
