Bring a picnic and join the party at Medway’s Platinum Jubilee big screen in Rochester Castle Gardens.
Watch all the action from London on a big screen in the castle grounds
The picnic site also features funfair rides, food and more
Avoid the capital’s crowds and see the Queen’s Birthday Parade, service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral and Platinum Jubilee Pageant, surrounded by friends and family, with our City’s very own castle as your backdrop.
Sing-along with the orchestra live from Horse Guards Parade and don’t forget your picnic… why not try Coronation chicken with the crusts cut off for a stately sandwich!
In addition to the big screen there will be a four-day craft fair and themed entertainers and characters performing in the castle grounds.
The picnic site will be open 10am-6pm daily but will remain open later on Saturday to show the Party at the Palace concert.
Events and activities will also take place alongside the big screen picnic site in the castle grounds as a tribute to the queen’s Platinum Jubilee and to commemorate the life and works of Charles Dickens across the Dickens celebratory weekend.
