Our year begins in Chatham town centre with Chinese New Year celebrations, bringing vibrant colours, traditions, and a spectacular parade for everyone to enjoy.

Many other events are brought to Chatham by Nucleus Arts, Pentagon Shopping Centre, and Child Friendly Medway. Highlights include the Chatham Carnival, Dino Day, and Super Saturday, featuring entertainment, exhibitions, trade stalls, and family-focused activities for everyone.
The Medway Mile is a popular annual event for anyone interested in running, jogging, or walking, whether with family, friends, or a social group. The event takes place at Medway Park and the Great Lines Heritage Park in July. Fun fairs are also hosted on the Great Lines and at Strand Lido and Leisure Park.

Our countryside parks at Riverside and Capstone offer fantastic outdoor spaces and also host events and activities throughout the year, including ranger-led walks, creative workshops, and talks.
Chatham Intra is the perfect place to unleash your creativity at Intra Arts and Sun Pier House studios. Workshops, exhibitions, and special events take place throughout the year, including the Intra Festival in June and more!
