This Summer spend some time in Medway's beautiful parks and green spaces - there really is so much to do!

Nature Trek

Go on safari and see the park through the ranger’s eyes, discover birds, bees, insects, flowers and maybe a reptile on this guided walk.

Riverside Country Park
Mudlarking

Comb the beaches and discover the secrets of the shoreline. In this session we will be turning stones and lifting seaweed to find the creatures that live in mud and on the coast. Then return to the visitor centre and make pictures from the sand.

Pond Dipping

Dip into the pond and explore the watery home of its residents. This session will have you asking questions, discovering the creatures of fresh water and recording what you find with creative crafts.

Bug Hunt

Enter the meadow and discover a world of minibeasts! In this session you will be learning about the bugs in the meadow by catching them in your net and identifying what you find. Then we will repay the bugs by building mini bug houses for you to take home.

Walk beneath the canopy and explore our education woodland. Build a den alone or with friends from what you find on the woodland floor.
