Behind the Scenes Tours at the National Maritime Museum's Ship Model Store

Take a peek behind the scenes with special tours at the National Maritime Museum's dedicated ship model store at the No.1 Smithery, Chatham: discover the amazing variety of ship models, and find out more about their Everyday Histories!

Come join us for a tour behind the scenes to see the extraordinary model collection of the National Maritime Museum, held at the No.1 Smithery in the Historic Dockyard Chatham, and learn about the amazing stories they tell. These 1-hour tours are led by our Curator of Ship Models and Small Boats, Simon Stephens, and offer a peak into the Everyday Histories of the people who made the models and sailed on the ships.

Please note that if you wish to visit other sites at the Historic Dockyard before or after your tour, an admission charge will apply.
