Fantasy Festival

5th April - 6th April 2026

On Easter Sunday and Monday, the historic tunnels of Fort Amherst will be transformed into a child-friendly fantasy world of make believe and science fiction.

The tunnels will be home to a spectacle of fairies and goblins, Star Wars characters, Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who players, Fantasy Creatures and Dragons, and other exciting characters.   

There will be a number of other engaging activities such as children’s activities, storytelling, and more. Also check out the 'science fiction and fantasy worlds' trade stands.  

Children (under 16) who dress as a fairy or pirate receive FREE admission

Around every corner you will encounter creatures galore, all of whom will provide the perfect photo opportunity for the young and at heart. 

Tickets and Pricing

Adult - £12 Child 5-15 - £9 Family (2 Adults/2 Kids) - £36 Concessions Senior 65+/Student - £11 Free child if dressed as Pirate or Fairy fancy dress

Grounds admission is free (parking charges apply)

Tunnel Tours available from £10.00 (bookable online in advance)
