Free Bug House & Clay Bug Craft

19th August 2026

Come along and learn about the trees and wildlife in the park.

Go exploring the park and create your own clay bug and bug house. Join the Medway Swale Estuary Partnership to decorate and build your own bug home to take home with you or hang in the park.

You will then make your own clay bug to take home while learning about the trees and wildlife in the park. Only book for children.

Adults don't need tickets. Broomhill Park, King Arthur's Drive, Strood, Kent ME2 3NB. You will find us between the play area and the car park.

Please wear old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. This is a free bookable event, but please let me know if you can't make it so another child can take your space.
