Love Gillingham 2026

19th July 2026

Get ready for a fantastic day out as Love Gillingham's Big Day Out returns to Gillingham High Street on Sunday, 19 July!

Popular activities from the first two events will return again this year, including live music, wrestling, street performers, creative workshops and much more.

This free, family-friendly event promises a vibrant celebration of everything that makes our town special.

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of live entertainment, including musicians, street performers, and a show-stopping wrestling match that’s sure to draw a crowd. There will also be interactive workshops for all ages, giving both kids and adults the chance to get hands-on with crafts and creative activities.

The high street will be lined with unique shopping stalls featuring local traders, artisans, and makers—perfect for picking up something special while supporting small businesses. And when it’s time to refuel, you’ll find delicious street food from a range of vendors offering something for every taste.

This year’s event is also a great opportunity to connect with your local public services. Representatives from various council teams and community services will be on hand throughout the day to chat, answer questions, and offer advice on how to get involved in local initiatives.

New activities for this year include an exhibition to preview public realm improvements coming to central part of the main High Street, between Sappers Walk and Green Street.

Whether you're coming for the music, the food, the crafts, or just to soak up the summer atmosphere, Love Gillingham is a celebration for everyone—including your four-legged friends. That’s right, the event is dog friendly, so feel free to bring the whole family along.

Make sure you also join in the Medway Mile, taking place on Friday, 17 July!
