Rochester Christmas Market 2025 is running:
Parking in the centre of Rochester is limited, and we encourage all our visitors to use public transport whenever possible.
The Rochester Train Station is a convenient 5-minute walk away from the Rochester Castle Gardens. Click here to plan your journey.

Park and Ride (Dickensian Christmas Festival & last weekend of the market):
Located at: University of Greenwich, Medway Campus, Central Avenue, Chatham Maritime,
Chatham, Kent. ME4 4TB.
The site is managed by Nu-Venture on behalf of Medway Council, 9am – 6.20pm both days. The service is operated by Nu-Venture Coaches. Running a 12-minute service. Return journey of £2 for adults, children (16 and under) travel free. The last bus will leave Rochester at 6pm for the University of Greenwich.
Coach bookings are now closed for 2025.
Yes, all four-legged friends are more than welcome to visit, so long as they are on the lead! However, please note that the market can get busy, so may not be suitable for all pets.
