Easter 2026 in Medway

22nd March 2026

Whether you’re planning a fun-filled spring break or a day out, you’ll find plenty to enjoy.

Experience the magic of Easter in Medway by exploring themed trails at our historic Rochester sites. Follow the enchanting Gonks garden trail at Eastgate House, embark on a quest to find baby mythical animals at Rochester Castle, or seek out golden eggs hidden throughout the Guildhall Museum.

The fun continues at the Great Ocean Egg-Sploration event at The Historic Dockyard Chatham, where families can join sea hare Horatio on an adventure to save the ocean eggs. Be sure to visit the Ocean Photographer of the Year exhibition, featuring 116 award-winning photographs. This inspiring display showcases the finest ocean, wildlife, and underwater photography from around the globe.

On 5 and 6 April, experience the Fantasy Festival at Fort Amherst, where the tunnels will come alive with a spectacle of fairies, goblins, Star Wars icons, Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who characters, fantasy creatures, dragons, and many more exciting guests.

There’s even more to enjoy at Fenn Bell Zoo this Easter, with a range of activities for all ages. Take part in the Easter trail around the zoo, hop onboard the Safari Trek, or plant some sunflower seeds!
